He is an experienced maritime professional with over 20 years of expertise in both commercial shipping and luxury charter yachts. Throughout his journey, Captain George has earned a reputation for professionalism, reliability, and his commitment to providing guests with exceptional, personalized experiences. He began his career on cargo vessels, where he gained invaluable experience in ship operations, navigation, and international trade routes. After transitioning to yachting in 2004, he has commanded several prestigious yachts, including M/Y EKALY, M/Y DOUNTLESS, M/Y CORVOUS, M/Y JESTER, M/Y SEMIRALICE, M/Y PEFTASTERI and M/Y XANAX. George joined M/Y EFMARIA in 2025, where he oversees the operation of the yacht and leads a highly skilled crew. His expertise extends to crafting bespoke itineraries, particularly in the Greek islands, where he is renowned for his knowledge of hidden bays, remote beaches and off-the-beaten-path destinations.
