Captain Josh Lacy was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He grew up with a younger sister, Rachel. He currently lives in Merritt Island, Florida. Growing up in Florida, Josh has always had a love for the ocean and passion for boating. He spent most of his free time with his father and grandpa fishing the space coast area. Since then, he has gone on multiple fishing trips around the world including, the Maldives, India, British Virgin Islands, and all over the Bahamas.

Josh graduated from Timber Creek High School in 2010 and continued his education at Mid Florida Tech School. He graduated with a Master Certificate in auto body, collision, and estimating. He started his career working at Cape Canaveral Space Center for nearly a decade as a Launch Pad Technician for SpaceX and then later became a Missile Crane Operator for Lockheed Martin Fleet Ballistic Missile Program.

While working at the space center, he started his captain career working part-time in the commercial towing and salvage work industry for Tow Boat US for five years. It was then when he was introduced to the yachting industry. He worked Friday-Sunday as a freelance charter captain in south Florida. This is where he discovered his passion for his career. He was offered a full-time position by a well-known day charter company, Anchor Rides. Josh was the Southeastern head captain. He managed a large variety of different vessels, vessel orientations, and charter crew placement. While continuing to run charters in his spare time. After working for Anchor for a year and half he decided to continue pursuing his dreams into becoming a full-time yacht captain.

He ran multiple deliveries up and down the east coast, from Florida to new England. During that time, he interviewed with multiple privately owned yachts for a full-time captain position. He was finally introduced to motor yacht, No Curfew. He now works as the full-time captain on No Curfew managing a private use, charter program, and crew of three.

Sadie Flynn (Chef)

Chef Sadie grew up sailing around the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod. She started college at Seton Hall University studying international relations and diplomacy, and after a few years realized that wasn’t the path she wanted to take and in 2008 moved to New York City for culinary school. She graduated with a degree in culinary arts from the Institute of Culinary Education in 2009. From there she started working in catering department at a golf course in Brooklyn. About a year later a friend asked her to come to St. Thomas for a week because he needed someone that could cook and sail, and that started her career in yachting.

She started in the yachting industry 12 years ago. She has worked on everything from small privately owned sailboats with a crew of only 2, to charter yachts with a crew of 16. After 8 years in the industry, she took a break and moved home to Boston to manage a wine bar. After 2 years she moved onto an Italian restaurant where she become the bar manager and events coordinator, and eventually before the restaurants closing in 2021, was promoted to AGM.

She has advanced wine studies credentials and has completed culinary courses from all over the world.

In her free time, she enjoys the beach, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
